Welcome to Harley Betts Photography. I am an outdoor photographer whose work is inspired by New Zealand's spectacular natural landscape, and here you can view a selection of high-quality works that are available for purchase as Fine Art Prints.

My aim is to make only the very best photographs available for sale. The images presented on this website are carefully chosen from my collection of photographs that I have built up over several years and many thousands of kilometres of travel throughout New Zealand.

The focus of this website is mainly on New Zealand natural images. An additional category, Antarctica, is also offered, which presents some of my images from the wild and remote Southern Ocean and Ross Sea regions that lie south of New Zealand.

This website was launched in May 2004, and will grow steadily over time as I continue to add to my photographic collection. Feedback is most welcome.

	January 2008 Canvas prints now available Stunning whichever way you look at them! In response to many enquiries about these, prints on canvas are now available from Harley Betts Photography. Canvas Prints are printed in full, vibrant colour directly onto sturdy canvas and coated with a very durable UV-resistant finish. These can either be mounted and framed in the same way as conventional photographic prints, or stretched onto wooden frames for a truly eye-catching three-dimensional look. 	July 2007 New Zealand Coast 2008 calendar The New Zealand Coast 2008 calendar has now been printed and will be in the bookshops shortly. The New Zealand Coast has quickly become New Zealand's most popular coastal calendar, and the 2008 edition features fresh new images from places throughout New Zealand including Northland, Auckland, Fiordland National Park, The Catlins and the Heaphy Track. As with previous calendars, a selection of the images in the calendar can also be found in the coastal gallery on this website where they are available for purchase as Fine Art Prints. The New Zealand Coast is published by leading New Zealand publisher Craig Potton Publishing, and can be purchased directly from their website. From late July 2007 it will also be available in most major New Zealand bookstores.

	August 2005 Harley Betts Photography goes "on ice" Harley Betts Photography is proud to have been asked to supply six New Zealand landscape images to Scott Base, New Zealand's Antarctic scientific research base in McMurdo Sound, Antarctica. Harley's images are now on display at the base, providing staff and visitors with welcome reminders of 'clean green New Zealand' during their stints on the ice. For more details, click here.
